Thanks to birthdays...... we end up getting lots of gifts. This birthday was quite different for me!!! I ended up getting lots of books, advice on books. Probably people found me jobless or bored to the core!! or may be they felt I wanted some more wisdom, Ironically i'm doing fine. Anyways, after shedding about 4kilos and lots of melanin :-P u tend to be fine. Ok enough of all the crap, the point was I'm doing great.
During my birthday party, lots of things were crossing my mind, And Shaz and Bhu came out with this gift called The World is Flat, and during a string of discussions on the same topic, he mentioned a book called "My Friend Sancho", by a first time author called-"Amit Varma". Though I started reading The World but somewhere I was struck by the curiosity and I ordered the book through a website(thanks to Shaz again).
The book is actually a drama about this bengali guy called Abhir Ganguly, he doesn't have any connection with Sourav Ganguly though! This character Abhir has such resounding resemblence to many of us(as in Guys!!) i'm sure we all are able to relate to this character. When I started reading this book initially I was like S*** man there such a F***** resemblence with my own life. That actually gives rise to this question whether all the guys have same type of sentiments!! or is it very normal that people tend to be the same.....
Abhir is a journalist, a person who writes ur page three.... not exactly the one thought. I meant the page three of the main sheet of news paper, Crime in short. Sorry for being synical. Like all of us he has his own f*%$ ups...... a beautifully written book...... beauty is the ending where the climax is left to our imagination.......If in case u have read the book.... pls comment on what can be the possible ending to this story frens...PLS......
